Lucas Cusack founded Cusack & Co to fill a gap that the industry consistently ignores: the disconnect between how buildings are delivered and how they are actually operated.

He spent two decades deliberately learning every facet of the full asset lifecycle — from architectural design, major construction delivery and digital twin deployment to Asset Information Management platforms and operational FM — so his clients don't have to. That journey, capped with an MSc in BIM Management with Distinction, led to a conclusion that most in the industry won't say out loud: most assets don't need a 3D model. Procuring one and maintaining it is almost always a waste of time and money.

What every asset does need is reliable data. A well-structured information management process that builds and maintains accurate asset information and O&Ms — tailored to your team's capability and the technology you already have. In most cases, that means working with your existing CAFM system and SharePoint, not procuring something new.

    Designed and directed the BIM strategy for a £4bn development pipeline across the UK and Europe. Built a bespoke application integrating construction models with O&M databases for FM teams — bridging the gap between delivery and operations from the asset owner side.
